A speech contest judges training program was conducted by Ms. Jorie Wu, DTM and Past District 67 Governor.  Those serving as a judge in speech contests such as Division and District speech contests are required to have taken a training held by the District.  Those who took this workshop qualified to serve as a judge in the 2008 Spring Conference and in other international contests.

Optional Sight seeing Tours of Peace Memorial Park & Miyajima
Before and after participating in various conference programs, attending toastmasters enjoyed numerous sight-seeing spots in and around the Peace Memorial Park. Those who were interested extended their itinerary to include a visit to Miyajima, one of the two World Heritages in the vicinity of Hiroshima.
